there is the veil, and there are those who wander it. entities are weary, tired, and most of all, lost. every so often, the fog lifts and the veil weakens, and two lonely souls are allowed to make a connection, however brief it may be

but they are not alone.

the medium alone has the power to pierce the veil. it seeps through the fabric, bypassing that which binds mortals and transcending beyond. through its own means it has joined connected two distant souls.

but it has motives of its own.

the veil around us is dark and strange. it catches souls and holds them apart. it is dotted by spirits, lost and alone, searching for away back to their old lives or passage onto the next.

phasmophone is a game for three players; two Entities sending messages back and forth, and the Medium who intercepts these messages to remove or corrupt their words.
